Update on Challenging Voter ID

Yet Another Reason to Defeat All GOP Candidates—If You Needed One

Viviette Applewhite is 93-year-old and has voted in nearly every election for the last 60 years. She marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., in Georgia. She has tried for years to obtain photo ID to no avail. Under Pennsylvania’s new voter ID law, Ms. Applewhite’s vote will not be counted. She is a plaintiff in our lawsuit to stop voter ID.

Ms. Applewhite said on CNN that she previously had an ID but it was stolen. SOS Aichele said that anyone who previously had a state-issued license or ID that had since expired, like seniors who no longer drive, could get a new ID to be used for voting without having to show any additional paperwork like a birth certificate.

So good news, Ms. Applewhite – you CAN get an ID and you CAN vote, without having to go to court. I bet a lot of seniors will be relieved to know that they can easily get an ID, and that they can also vote by mail-in ballot.

@ E_Green. You are making too much sense. Typical Democrat strategy. The Republicans want to throw the elderly out onto the streets, the Republicans want to prevent minorities from voting, the Republicans want diry air and water, blah, blah, blah. Give me a break. The only unfortunate thing is that too many stupid democrats believe this crap.

Oh yeah, why do I need to give my email address and name in order to make this simple post? Is your requiring me to provide you with my name and email address racist? Please…………………
